She graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Universitat de Barcelona.

She specialized in Ophthalmology at the Centro de Oftalmología Barraquer, where she obtained an MBA in Cornea Pathology and Eye Surface, an MBA in Retina and Vascular Pathology, inflammation and intraocular tumors, an MBA in Diagnose and Treatment of Cataracts and Glaucoma and an MBA in Pathology and Surgery of Macula, Vitreous and Retina.

She is doctor at various hospitals of Barcelona and, in Oftalmoplus, she is in charge of the Department of Anterior Eye Segment and Glaucoma. In addition, she usually participates in several congresses, specialization courses and publications in specialized books and reviews.
